Oklaquake Wonky Cabin Quilt

Here's the quilt I was commissioned to do but the order changed so I have permission to sell it.

This is a "quilt as I went" project.  Each square is joined to another with small frames of fabric on front and back with almost hidden quilting on the top.  measures 64"x64"

The fabrics are playful blues and blue greens with an occasional red, green or orange fish in the middle of each square.

This quilt is titled "Oklaquake Wonky Cabins" because the log cabin design squares are not all perfectly square like the houses in my neighborhood after a recent round of earthquakes.

The fabric prints range from whales to sports equipment to flowers.  There are clouds, stars and aliens and Alice in Wonderland inspired prints.  (NOTE: the frayed edge in the lowest picture has been fixed.

Eddie's inspiration

Eddie said the women of Freeland Brown Pharmacy loved the quilt I made up of the pieces my mother left behind.  That made me feel great when my day had been a little hum drum so far.  It did inspire me to look up some new patterns for my next baby quilt. I have a list on my phone of those that I should be working on.  To keep me honest, I'll post them here.
